Privacy policy

We utilize Shopify to process orders and store customer information. Users who purchase items on gridplus.io are redirected to Shopify and enter their personal information (including name, address, and payment information). Shopify securely stores this personal information, which is viewable by GridPlus indefinitely unless action is taken to request its removal.

We aim to request that Shopify remove personal customer information on all orders regularly within seven (7) days of the order delivery. This action must be taken manually on an individual order using the Shopify web interface. Shopify's policies state that once there is a request to delete customer information, the data will not be deleted until six (6) months from the customer's most recent order, regardless of the date of the removal request.

It's important to understand that GridPlus does not have direct control over data removal from Shopify. We can only request that Shopify delete a customer's data; the final decision rests with Shopify. If you wish to expedite the removal of your information after completing an order, please contact help@gridplus.io. We will be happy to request this on your behalf. Please be aware that GridPlus must comply with all relevant laws regarding customer data retention, which may limit our ability to request the removal of Shopify data. However, we want to assure you that GridPlus has no intention of retaining customer data that serves no purpose.
